Think On His Name
Psalm 48:9-10 NKJV
9. We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple. 10 According to Your name, O God, So is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
This Psalm is written by the sons of Korah exalting the glories of God in Zion.
Notice what the psalmists write about the great God referred to in verse 1.
1. We have thought of You O God.
2. We have thought of Your lovingkindness in the midst of Your temple.
3. According to Your Name O God, so is Your praise extended to the end of the earth.
4. Your right hand is full of righteousness.
Child of God:
• After the psalmists exalts God as deserving praise in verse 1, they now begin to meditate on Him.
• The Holy Spirit is saying to you today…
a.) Think of My lovingkindness towards you.
b.) Think of how I bless you in your worship experiences.
c.) Consider the glories of My Name, JESUS IS MY NAME.
d.) Consider the power in My Name, JESUS IS MY NAME.
e.) Consider that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Me as Lord to the glory of God the Father, (Philippians 2:10-11)
Meditate on God’s righteous right Hand that holds you up all the time.
Thank God that you can think on His Name.
Thank God that you have a mind to bow to Him in grace.
Meditate on the Great God who owns and controls everything and everybody.
Bow in total surrender to the Great God of the universe.
Thank the great God for loving you, His NAME is JESUS.
May God "teach you to number your days, that you may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12, NKJV). Love Ya Webster
