What’s Wrong?
Psalm 42:5 NKJV
5. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.

This Psalm is written by the sons of Korah expressing their feelings of yearning for God in the midst of distress.
Notice their questions and also take note of the answer.
1. Why are you cast down O my soul?
2. Why are you disquieted within me?
3. Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him.
4. I will hope for the help of His countenance.

Child of God:
There are times in your walk with God when you will experience these emotions.
There are periods of depression that are a part of the human experience.
When you experience these emotions, remember that there is nothing strange or abnormal about you.
When you experience these emotion quote the responds of the psalmist, Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him. I will hope for the help of His countenance.
Quote the psalmist saying my help is from God’s presence in my life.

Meditate on the ever presence of the God of your salvation to uplift your head.
Thank God that the answer to your question, what is wrong, is the answer that God sends; I am with you always even to the end of the world.
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
