You Are Supported
Psalm 40:11 NKJV
11. Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O LORD; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me
This is a Psalm of David describing the faith of continuing in God during trials.
Notice:
1. Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me O Lord.
2. Let Your loving kindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
Child of God, take note of the progression of this Psalm.
• In verse 10 David declared that he refused to keep the attributes of God to himself.
• Now in verse 11 David is requesting from God the support required to continue his ministry of evangelism.
• God does not expect you to move in your own strength.
• God has given you His Holy Spirit; His Spirit gives you the authority and also empowers you to declare His attributes in this dark world.
• You are supported by the Holy Spirit of the living God to declare God’s righteousness, God’s salvation, God’s loving kindness and God’s truth.
• Declare Jesus and Him crucified.
Meditate on the honor God has given you to be His mouth piece.
Thank God for His support.
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
