Do God’s Work Now
Psalm 39:4 NKJV
4 “LORD, make me to know my end, And what is the measure of my days, That I may know how frail I am.

This is a prayer from David to God asking for wisdom and forgiveness.
Notice:
1. Lord make me to know my end.
2. Lord make me to know the measure of my days.
3. Lord make me to know how frail I am.

Child of God, in this verse David is asking God to remind him of how brief life is. David ask God to remind him of how fast life moves and that his days are numbered.
The application for you, the baptized born again believer, is to do what God put you here to do without excuses or procrastination.
Moses writes that God sweeps people away like dreams that disappear, (Psalm 90:5).
Moses also asks God to teach His people to make the most of their time so they will grow in wisdom, (Psalm 90:12).
God is saying to you, only what you do for Me will last,  (2: Corinthians 4: 18).
The Holy Spirit is saying to you,  do for Me now.

Meditate on hearing the words, well done My good and faithful servant.
Thank God that you are doing God’s work now, (no procrastination).
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
