Wait and Rest
Psalm 37:7 NKJV
7. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
In today’s postmodern society, it might seem to some that crime pays. It might appear that right is wrong and wrong is right.
Hear the words of David today.
Notice:
1. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
2. Do not fret because of the person who prospers in his/her way.
3. Do not fret because of the person who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Child of God:
• In this unstable economy God is saying to you the baptized born again believer…
a.) Rest and wait on Him.
b.) The workers of evil might appear to be prospering at this time.
c.) The person who devises wicked schemes should not cause you stress.
• Focus on 2 Chronicles 20:15, the battle is not yours’s it is the Lord’s.
Meditate on the peace you have in resting and waiting on God.
Thank God for His all seeing justice.
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
