Praise Brings Earthy Blessing
Psalm 67: 5-7 NKJV
5. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. 6 Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
Psalm 67 is a prayer of public worship to God.
Notice how the psalmist closes this psalm.
1. Let the people praise You O God.
2. Let all the people praise You God.
3. Then the earth shall yield her increase.
4. God our own God shall bless us.
5. Then all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
Child of God
• The psalmist is saying that God inhabits the praises of His people.
• The psalmist is saying, when the praises are given to God He blesses His people.
• The psalmist is saying that God requires praise from His creation.
• The psalmist claims God as his own, (God our own God).
• Praise brings you into the presence of God which results in fear, (reverence), of God.
• This world needs to be reminded that God will heal this land when praise is given to Him.
Meditate on the shower of blessings you receive from your God when you praise Him.
Thank God for the privilege of offering praise to Him that brings you earthly blessing.
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
