Lord I Come With An Offering Of Praise
Psalm 66: 13-14 NKJV
13. I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my [a]vows, 14 Which my lips have uttered And my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.
Psalm 66 is a praise to God for His awesome works.
Notice what the psalmist prays in these two verses.
1. I will go into Your house with burnt offerings, (a sacrifice).
2. I will pay You my vows which my lips have uttered..
3. I will pay my vows that my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.
Child of God
• The context of this prayer is when humanity was under the dispensation of Law.
• The psalmist is saying that he will bring the required sacrifices to the temple as an offering to God.
• The psalmist is saying that he is duty bound to keep the promises that he made to God when he was in trouble and God provided deliverance.
• Ponder the numerous times that God delivered you from a difficult situation, (a situation that only God could resolve).
• Consider the promises that you made to God before and after deliverance.
• Keep the promises that you made to God .
• Enter into His presence with singing and praises.
Meditate on the God who delivers from all troubles.
Say to the Lord I come with an offering of praise.
Thank God that you are under Grace, (no animal sacrifice required, Jesus paid it all).
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. ( 2 John 3)
