God Is Turned Toward Me

Psalm 66:20 NKJV

20. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!

Psalm 66 is a praise to God for His awesome works

Notice how the psalmist closes in verse 20.

  1. Blessed be God, (praises).
  2. God has not turned away my prayer, (He did not ignore my prayers).
  3. God has not turned His mercy from me, (God did not withdraw His unfailing love from me).

Child of God…

  • The psalmist closes this psalm with the reason that he can praise God for His awesome works.
  • God did not let him down.
  • God heard his request and his praise.
  • God answered his request.
  • God displayed His faithful and everlasting love.
  • You have this same assurance.
  • Jesus said if you abide in Me and My Word in you and can ask and it shall be done, (John 15:7).
  • Read Psalm 66 with the emphasis on verse 20.
  • Ponder the last prayer God answered for you.

Meditate on all the prayers that God answered for you, (try, there are probably too many to remember).

Thank God that He is turned toward you with grace and mercy, (everlasting love).

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, (2 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV). Love ya Webster
