Praise Before, During, And After The Battle

Psalm 66:17  NKJV

17. I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.

Psalm 66 is a praise to God for His awesome works

Notice what the psalmist writes in verse 17.

  1.  I cried to Him with my mouth, (I asked for help).
  2. He was extolled with my mouth, (I praised Him as I spoke).

Child of God…

  • The psalmist is saying as I spoke with God about my situation, I praised Him, (He was extolled).
  • In Joshua 6:1-5 we note praise to God, who was the one that fought the battle, before the walls came down, (praise to God brought down the walls of Jericho).
  • In our worship services we sing the song, don’t wait  until the battle is over, shout now.
  • This verse is clear; praise God now!
  • The Holy Spirit is saying to you, offer your sacrifices of praises while you make your request.

Meditate on your all powerful living God who is willing and able to answer your request as you are praising.

Thank God for giving you a praise before, during and after the battle.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, (2 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV). Love ya Webster
